With the release of iOS 18.2, Apple made significant changes to the Mail app, adding new functionality for Categories and priority messages. Your emails are automatically divided into four categories: Primary, Transactions, Updates, and Promotions. Additionally, the update includes business logos and contact images for chats in your inbox, but you can easily remove them if you don't like the way they look.
Thankfully, you can simply disable the little images entirely by doing the following:
1. Launch the iPhone's Settings app.
2. Tap Apps after swiping to the bottom of the menu.
3. In the list of apps, look for or scroll to Mail.
4. Toggle off the button next to "Show Contact Photos" under "Message List,"

4. Toggle off the button next to "Show Contact Photos" under "Message List,"
All you have to do is that. Just activate the same setting in Settings to restore the contact photos. You may also turn off Apple's categorisation function if you're not happy with the new Mail app's appearance. To find out how it's done, click the link.
