Launch of Honour X9c India
In an X post, Honour hinted at the impending release of an X-series smartphone in India. Amazon has confirmed that the phone is available for purchase in the nation. According to the e-commerce site's live homepage, the phone will include a sizable battery and a camera that supports both optical and electronic image stabilisation (OIS and EIS). The phone is rumoured to include an eye-friendly dimming display.

The X teaser's design indicates that the incoming phone is the Honour X9c, even though the manufacturer has not confirmed the name. With a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 CPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of onboard storage, the phone debuted in Malaysia. It comes pre-installed with MagicOS 8.0, which is based on Android 14.
The Honour X9c's global version features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen that can dim up to 3,840 Hz and refresh at 120 Hz. Regarding the camera, it features a 16-megapixel sensor at the front, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera at the rear, and a 108-megapixel primary sensor. The device supports 66W wired fast charging and has a 6,600mAh battery.
In Myanmar, the Honour X9c was first sold at MYR 1,499, or around Rs. 28,700, for the 12GB + 256GB model. Notably, an Honor X9c Smart variant was unveiled in select markets in December 2024.
