According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra would have an under-display camera (UDC) like the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Although the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is scheduled to go on sale later this week, preliminary web rumours regarding the Galaxy S26 lineup for next year have already begun to circulate. According to the most recent leak, Samsung hasn't made any notable changes to the front camera configuration of its flagship phones in recent years, but the Galaxy S26 Ultra may break this pattern. The absence of a selfie camera cutout in the screens of the Galaxy S26 Ultra's early prototypes may indicate that the Ultra variant of the following year may take a cue from the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Perhaps the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Will Provide a Full-Screen Experience
According to tipster Kro on X, Samsung is testing an under-display camera (UDC) for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to reports, the prototype's display does not have a hole-punch cutout or notch for the selfie camera.

Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold smartphones already include an under-display camera device on the inner screen. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 debuted the functionality. Users may watch videos or play games without any interruptions thanks to the UDC, which is concealed beneath the display. Video calls and facial recognition for device unlocking are its main uses.

For the Galaxy S26 Ultra variant, Samsung is reportedly testing a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.5-inch sensor size in addition to the UDC. It is anticipated that the Galaxy S26 series would provide 65W wired fast charging. Compared to the Galaxy S25 lineup's 45W charging, this would be a significant boost.

According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the company's first bar-style smartphone to use the newest Colour Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) technology, which is touted to improve light transmittance and lower power usage. It might operate on the flagship Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. However, there are rumours that the Galaxy S26 series' non-ultra variants would come with the company's proprietary Exynos CPUs.
