On January 4 in China, the OnePlus 11 5G will be announced. The Chinese tech company has previewed the smartphone's camera features only a day before its formal unveiling. It has been announced that the OnePlus 11 5G would have a triple rear camera system with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor at its centre. A 48-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel portrait sensor will also be included in the camera configuration. Additionally, the business posted camera test images from the future phone on the Chinese social networking platform. A Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM will power the OnePlus 11 5G.
On Weibo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer revealed the OnePlus 11 5G's camera specifications. It is known to include three cameras on the back: a 48-megapixel Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle macro lens, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor, and a 2-megapixel Sony IMX709 portrait camera.
Additionally, OnePlus has revealed a few OnePlus 11 5G camera samples on Weibo. According to the samples, image sensor developments in cameras are highlighted. It implies that RAW photography will be supported by cameras bearing the Hasselblad name. It promises a 12% improvement in colour and white balance accuracy.
Although OnePlus has not released any information on the selfie sensor, early rumours stated that the OnePlus 11 5G will come with a 16-megapixel selfie camera. A 6.7-inch curved AMOLED screen with a 2K (1,440x3,216 pixels) resolution and 120Hz refresh rate is believed to be included in the device. Additionally, the display can use Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM for the OnePlus 11 5G have previously been disclosed by the Chinese company. Three RAM and storage variants are anticipated to be available: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage. A 5,000mAh battery with 100W rapid charging capabilities is expected to be included. It could work with ColorOS 13.
On January 4 at 2:30 PM CST, the OnePlus 11 5G will be unveiled in China (IST). Along with the smartphone, the new OnePlus Buds Pro 2 TWS earphones will make their debut. Additionally, it will debut on February 7 in India.
