With the release of the new Vivo Y53t 5G in China, Vivo has added more phones to its Y-series lineup. As a replacement for the Vivo Y52t, the Chinese manufacturer's entry-level device has been launched. The device has a Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC with up to 6GB of RAM and a 6.51-inch HD+ display. On top of Android 13 on the phone is OriginOS Ocean. Starting on January 9, the Vivo Y53t 5G will be available for purchase in China for CNY 999.
Price and availability for the Vivo Y53t 5G
In China, the Vivo Y53t 5G is available for purchase starting at CNY 999 (about Rs. 11,980) for 4GB + 128GB and CNY 1099 for 6GB+128GB. The phone will come in Black Truffle and Orange Fruit colour schemes.
This device supports 5G SA/NSA and comes pre-installed with the Android 13-based OriginOS Ocean overlay. From January 9, 2023, the Vivo Y53t 5G will be available for purchase in China.

According to reports, the recently released Vivo Y53t 5G has the same characteristics as the Vivo Y35, which debuted last month. It has a waterdrop notch on its 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display. A MediaTek Dimensity 700 7nm CPU, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU are included. The smartphone comes pre-installed with OriginOS Ocean UI based on Android 13.
It has a dual 13-megapixel (wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) camera system on the back and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls as standard equipment for optics. Dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and USB Type-C are among the connection possibilities. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3.5mm headphone port are also included. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery and 15W rapid charging is supported.
In the meantime, Vivo has introduced the Vivo Y35m in China, another Y-series phone in the sub-20K price category. A MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, together with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, powers the smartphone. The phone's body is made of polycarbonate. It runs Android 13 with an additional layer of Origin OS Forest and has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging.
