POLLS
We published a story exactly one month ago about the shortcuts, online status, and polls new capabilities that some users received after installing the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2242.0.0 upgrade. We emphasised in the same post that while polls could not be made, they could at least be seen and voted on by other group members. The option to make polls is finally being made available to certain beta users on WhatsApp!
To create a poll, click the attach symbol next to the chat bar. A poll shortcut will appear, and clicking it will open the view in this screenshot. You may add up to 12 alternatives to the poll, and it is always end-to-end encrypted so that only other people in the same chat can read and reply to it, much as on WhatsApp beta for Android, iOS, and desktop. It should be noted that both individual and group conversations can use this capability.
After installing the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2246.2.0 update, select beta testers received the ability to make polls, and it will gradually be made available to more users over the next several days.
