The Wiko 5G smartphone was introduced on Tuesday in China by French smartphone manufacturer Wiko. The Huawei Nova 9 SE has been relaunched as the Wiko 5G. The Huawei phone debuted in March of this year. Although there are significant design differences, the Wiko 5G and Nova 9 SE have many similar specs. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC and Huawei's HarmonyOS power the Wiko 5G. The device has a 6.78-inch full-HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels.
Price and availability of Wiko 5G
There are two distinct ways to set up the Wiko 5G. Priced at CNY 1,999 (about Rs. 23,700) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model and CNY 2,199 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant (roughly Rs. 26,000). The device went on sale in the Chinese market on December 27, but Wiko has not made any formal announcements regarding its availability elsewhere.
Wiko 5G requirements
The Wiko 5G supports twin nano SIM cards, both of which can connect to 5G networks, and runs Huawei's HarmonyOS. The phone has a 6.78-inch full-HD+LCD screen with a resolution of 1080x2388 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a pixel density of 387 PPI. An octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, an Adreno 619 GPU, and 8 GB of RAM power the device.
The Wiko 5G's quad rear cameras are headlined by a 108-megapixel main lens with an aperture of f/1.9. An f/2.2 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, an f/2.4 2-megapixel macro camera, an f/2.4 2-megapixel depth-of-field camera, and an LED flash are all included in the camera module. The top-center hole-punch cutout on the screen houses the 16-megapixel, f/2.2 front camera.
The phone comes with 128GB and 256GB of storage space. Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, OTG, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB Type-C connector are among the available connectivity choices. The phone also has a compass, fingerprint reader, gravity sensor, and ambient light sensor.
The Wiko 5G weighs about 191 grammes and has dimensions of 164.64mmx75.55mmx7.94mm.
