Owners of Samsung Galaxy S21 FE devices in India are reportedly now getting the Android 13 upgrade with Samsung's One UI 5.0 user interface. Google's Android operating system is now being rolled out to cellphones across the nation. While India's Galaxy S21 "Fan Edition" devices were still using One UI 4, an Android 12 based UI, Samsung's Galaxy S21 series had already gotten the upgrade. Only a few months after Google released the update for its Pixel devices, Samsung has already upgraded a number of Galaxy A and M Series phones to Android 13.
The One UI 5.0 update has firmware version G990EXXU3DVK4, but it does not have the November 2022 security patch, according to a SamMobile report. Users of the Galaxy S21 FE in India can now enjoy Android 13 after receiving the update last month for the international model.
The update comes a few days after the Android 13 update was rolled out to several Galaxy A series and Galaxy M series smartphones. The SamMobile report also states that users of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE in Canada, China, and the US will have to wait a while for the One UI 5.0 update.
Users of Samsung devices will receive a customised skinned version of the most recent Android release, which includes a number of new features. One UI 5.0 will have improved performance in addition to a new lock screen, gestures, and app icons. Users of the Galaxy S21 FE may download and install the One UI 5.0 upgrade by going to Settings > Software update.
Notably, the Android 13 update and the November 2022 security patch were applied to the Galaxy S21 range (S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra) last month. The Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 line of devices also received the update.

Samsung is dedicated to offering the One UI 5.0 upgrade to its compatible Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Z, and Galaxy A series handsets. The similar technique has previously been applied to several models in the reasonably priced Galaxy M series.
The One UI 4 on Android 12-based Galaxy S21 FE was released in January 2022. At the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) in October, Samsung formally launched the One UI 5.0, delivering the new operating system to the Galaxy S22 series of phones first. For four years, the South Korean IT behemoth has made software update promises.
