According to reports, YouTube Music is developing a new function that lets users make their own radio stations. The Now Playing part of the music streaming website now allows users to modify their music queue based on the genre and mood of the song being played. The 'Create a Radio' function, which is now under testing, is anticipated to be made available to consumers in a stable version very soon, claims the source. Via addition, YouTube Music is inviting users to vote for the features they would want to see on the app in a survey.

Some YouTube Music users on Reddit revealed the news of YouTube's new feature after discovering the "Create a radio" function in the main feed, according to a report by 9to5Google. Although it is currently under development, a larger audience will get access to it shortly. Similar to how YouTube Music was initially set up, the app gives users a variety of artist options to indicate their preferences.

The programme then allows users to lock their "Song Selection" from the three available options—Familiar, Blend, and Discover—as seen in the photographs included with the report. Choose from options like Popular, Deep cuts, New releases, Pump-up, Chill, Upbeat, Downbeat, and Focus in the next phase. The personalised YouTube Music radio playlist will be accessible after setup.

In the meanwhile, YouTube Music is also holding a poll or survey to find out from users which elements of the app they enjoy the most. Users can suggest their favourite features in the poll headed "What feature do you desire the most on ad-supported?" The choices include improved suggestions, a sleep timer, background music, and lyrics updates. However, the poll will only be available for six days.

YouTube just launched a new upgrade to enhance the identification of spam and abuse in comments and live chat. Additionally, a function that alerts users when one of their offensive comments violates YouTube's Community Guidelines has been implemented.
