The Redmi K60E has apparently been discovered on Geekbench, providing a preview of the cellular device's impending release. It is anticipated that Xiaomi would soon introduce its new Redmi K-series flagship range. The Chinese smartphone maker hasn't yet provided an official launch date, but the rumoured features and specifications of the new devices have already appeared online. A third Redmi K60E model might be added to the Redmi K60 series, which was previously stated to consist of two models: the Redmi K60 and the Redmi K60 Pro.
A Redmi phone with the model number "Xiaomi 22127RK46C" was reportedly detected on the testing website Geekbench, according to a claim by MySmartPrice. A Snapdragon 870 CPU is stated to be inside the rumoured Redmi K60E smartphone.
Despite using Android 12 and not Android 13, the listing suggests that the Redmi K60E scored 961 in the single-core round and 3123 points in the multi-core segment. According to the entry on Geekbench, the chipset has a clock speed of 3.19GHz.
Furthermore, the listing indicates that the rumoured Redmi K60E would include 12GB of RAM. The term "Alioth" appears in the motherboard section, indicating that the phone is most likely using an outdated Snapdragon 870 chipset.
Contrary to the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro, which are said to use flagship Snapdragon chipsets, the Redmi K60E is supposed to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
Prior to the Redmi K60's release, its specs were recently leaked. The display is anticipated to be 6.67 inches and have a 2K resolution. A triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel main camera sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor is most likely available for optics. The device will have a 5,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and 30W wireless charging.
