According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy M04 has been seen in the Google Play Console. The rumoured smartphone model was previously discovered in the certification databases of the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), and Geekbench. The Galaxy M04's support website was also published earlier this month by the South Korean giant in India. The rumoured Samsung Galaxy M04 is anticipated to debut as the Galaxy M03's replacement. The smartphone's major specs have been hinted at by its debut on the Google Play Console listing.
The alleged Samsung Galaxy M04 may include a MediaTek MT6765 SoC with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked between 1.8GHz and 2.3GHz, according to the Google Play Console listing, which was originally seen by the people at Myfixguide. The MediaTek Helio G35 SoC is compatible with the specs and clocking information.
Additionally, the listing implies that the Galaxy M04 will ship with Android 12 OS and 3GB of RAM. According to the description on Google Play Console, the Samsung Galaxy M04 will have a waterdrop notch display that supports 720x1600 pixels resolution and 300ppi screen density.
The rumoured Samsung Galaxy M04 was previously discovered on the testing website Geekbench. According to the Geekbench listing, the SM-M045F model phone might have Android 12 installed, an octa-core SoC, an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. Additionally, it was implied by the Geekbench listing that the smartphone will not enable 5G connection. The mobile device received 4233 points for its multi-core performance and 86 points for its single-core performance.
The Samsung Galaxy A04e, which is currently offered in a few international markets, and the Galaxy M04 have both been seen side by side on Bluetooth certification websites, leading some to speculate that the upcoming Galaxy smartphone will be an India-specific rebranded version of the Samsung Galaxy A04e.
There were no significant specs listed for the smartphone on the BIS certification website in India. However, as with every sighting on BIS, it does suggest that Samsung might soon introduce the Galaxy M04 in India.
