The Moto G 5G (2023), a next smartphone from Motorola, appears to have leaked. Although the well-liked G series of phones from the American company have not yet been formally unveiled, the most recent leak raises the possibility that the Moto G 5G (2022) will be followed by another model. The leaked image depicts a protective cover for the Motorola Moto G 5G (2023), giving away the existence of the future phone. Renders of the Moto G 5G (2023), which show off the anticipated appearance and construction of the smartphone, are also included in the leak.

On Tuesday, Slashleaks published pictures of a transparent phone cover for the Moto G 5G (2023). Leakspinner, a website with over 100 verified leaks, is the source of the information. The pictures are renderings of the new phone, which has a flat body and sharp corners.

The leaked photos also suggest a twin rear camera configuration at the back and a hole-punch cutout front camera in the top centre of the screen. It appears that the two cameras are housed in a rectangular camera module with an LED flash. A 50-megapixel main lens is also hinted at by the module, exactly as the Motorola Moto 5G. (2022).

Thin bezels, power and volume buttons on the right side, and a metallic silver design and colour option are other characteristics hinted at in the renderings. The Moto G 5G (2022), which had a curved body design, is radically different from the Motorola device in the renderings.

In April, Motorola introduced the Moto G 5G (2022), which was later made available in Canada. Indian marketplaces do not carry the device. The 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) IPS TFT display on the Moto G 5G (2022) has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It has a 50-megapixel main sensor at the centre of a triple back camera array and is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC.
