The anticipated design and features of the Motorola ThinkPhone have been leaked in advance of the device's introduction. The forthcoming handset's design is hinted at by a recent leak that features promotional pictures of the device. Similar to other rumours, the photos of the phone appear to have triple rear cameras and a carbon-fibre pattern on the back. The informant said that the Motorola ThinkPhone will come pre-installed with Android 13 and be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
On Wednesday, tipper SnoopyTech (@snoopytech) tweeted advertisements for the Motorola ThinkPhone. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and ThinkPhone may be seen side by side in the pictures. The photos display a rectangular back camera module with a triple camera configuration, including an LED flash and a 50-megapixel main lens.
The Motorola ThinkPhone has uniformly thin bezels, a front camera with a punch-hole cutout in the centre of the screen, and a red function button on the left side rail. The informant said that the new device would ship with Android 13 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. The phone should support 68W fast charging as well.
The latest leak supports earlier reports from informants regarding the anticipated features and appearance of the phone. A rumour from earlier this month suggested the phone will have a 6.6-inch full-HD+ pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Along with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of internal storage, the Motorola ThinkPhone is anticipated to include 8GB and 12GB RAM versions.
The back camera module is rumoured to have a 13-megapixel secondary camera, a 2-megapixel tertiary lens, and a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS. Also anticipated for the Motorola ThinkPhone are a 5,000mAh battery and 15W wireless charging capability. An aluminium frame with an aramid fibre inlay, measuring 158.76mmx74.38mmx8.26mm, has also been suggested by earlier leaks.
Even though there have been several rumours, Motorola has not yet verified the phone's specs or set a launch date.
