Over a week after the smartphones were supposed to go on sale, the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 were introduced in China on Sunday. The newest top-of-the-line Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC from Qualcomm powers Xiaomi's new flagship smartphone series, which also has Leica-branded back cameras. A 32-megapixel selfie camera, 120Hz OLED screens, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance are just a few of the improvements over the Xiaomi 12 models from a year ago that the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 models provide. Both versions are available in four different colours.
In comparison to the standard Xiaomi 13, which has a 4,500mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, the recently released Xiaomi 13 Pro has a 4,820mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Pricing for the 8GB + 128GB edition of the Xiaomi 13 Pro begins at CNY 4,999 (about Rs. 59,000), while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 5,399 (roughly 64,000). The 12GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 5,799 (about Rs. 68,700), and the top-end 12GB + 512GB model costs CNY 6,299 (about Rs (roughly Rs. 74,600).
Priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 47,300) for the base 8GB + 128GB model, CNY 4,299 (approximately Rs. 51,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model, and CNY 4,599 (approximately Rs. 54,500) for the 12GB + 256GB model, the Xiaomi 13 is also available in a 12GB + 256GB model. Priced at CNY 4,999 is the top-tier model with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage (roughly Rs. 59,000).
Both smartphones are available in the following colour options: Ceramic White, Ceramic Black, Flora Green (Ceramic), and Mountain Blue. Both Xiaomi products are currently up for pre-order and will be sold in China starting on December 14.

The 6.73-inch OLED 2K (1,440x3,200 pixels) display on the dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) Xiaomi 13 Pro supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, up to 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It runs MIUI 14. The display has a maximum brightness rating of 1,900 nits and supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut. It is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus. An octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM power the smartphone.
Leica-branded triple rear cameras are included on the Xiaomi 13 Pro, with the 50-megapixel, 1-inch Sony IMX989 main sensor with HyperOIS and f/1.9 aperture taking centre stage. A 50-megapixel floating 75mm telephoto sensor with support for OIS and EIS and an f/2 aperture, as well as a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor with a 115-degree view angle and an f/2.2 aperture, are also included in the camera unit. Xiaomi sports a 32-megapixel camera at the front for selfies.
On the Xiaomi 13 Pro, the company provides up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
