Tuesday saw the introduction of the Redmi K60 series in China. The Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E are included in this new flagship lineup from the Xiaomi-owned company. Regarding the availability of these devices worldwide, Redmi has not released any information. The Redmi K60E is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, while the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series chipsets. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen on these smartphones has a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Price and availability for the Redmi K60 Pro, K60, and K60E

The top-of-the-line Redmi K60 Pro starts at CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 40,000) for the entry-level 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The most costly model has 16GB RAM and 512GB storage and costs CNY 4,599 (about Rs. 55,000).

Similar to the Redmi K60, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is available for CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 30,000). The most expensive Redmi smartphone has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and it costs CNY 3,599. (roughly Rs. 43,000)

China will begin selling the Redmi K60 Pro and Redmi K60 on December 31 at 10 a.m. local time (7:30am IST).

Finally, the Redmi K60E's price for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option is CNY 2,199 (about Rs. 26,000). The pricing of its 12GB RAM + 512GB storage is CNY 2,799 at the moment (roughly Rs. 33,000). The selling of this smartphone has begun in China.

The 6.67-inch 2K (1,440x3,200 pixels) AMOLED display on the Redmi K60 Pro has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a touch sampling rate of up to 480 Hz. Additionally, the screen supports HDR10+ and has a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits. This smartphone has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, an Adreno GPU, and a Qualcomm AI Engine built in. This Redmi phone has up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM.

The Redmi K60 Pro has a triple rear camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 primary sensor with OIS as its focal point. Additionally, it has a 2-megapixel macro sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens. Up to 8K movies may be captured at 24 frames per second with this set-up of cameras. The device also has a 16-megapixel front-facing selfie camera that can capture full-HD movies at 60 frames per second.

According to the manufacturer, the Redmi K60 Pro is 162.78x75.44x8.59mm and weighs 205g. It features a 5,000mAh battery and supports both 30W and 120W wired fast charging. With support for Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth v5.3 wireless connectivity, it is a dual-SIM 5G smartphone. This phone has a facial recognition function and a fingerprint sensor hidden behind the display for security. Run on MIUI 14, which is based on Android 13, this Redmi smartphone.

Redmi K60 characteristics and specs

The Redmi K60 copies the Pro model's most of its specs. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is present in this regular version. It has a triple back camera arrangement with 64 megapixels. With a 5,500mAh battery with 67W wired and 30W wireless fast charging capabilities, the device has a 5,500mAh battery.

Redmi K60E characteristics and specs

Similar to the Redmi K60 Pro, the Redmi K60E has nearly identical features. However, a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC powers it. A 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging capabilities and a 48-megapixel triple back camera configuration with OIS are also included.
