Samsung has noted a strong increase in demand from corporate customers for its fourth generation folding phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The South Korean smartphone said that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 has had a 105 percent increase in corporate demand since last year. Shipments of foldable smartphones are anticipated to total 16 million this year and up to 26 million in 2019. Samsung claims that the increasing demand is due to features like a huge screen and "strong app optimizations" for foldable devices.
Samsung claims that compared to last year, the demand for its foldable phones among businesses has nearly doubled. The quantity of foldables Samsung delivered to business users increased by 105% between January and October 2022.
According to Samsung, around 16 million Galaxy Z Fold and Flip phones are anticipated to arrive this year, with a potential increase to 23 million by the following year. Samsung claims that features like large-screen multitasking and potent app optimizations are some of the causes of the increase in demand. Users may access up to three apps simultaneously using Multi Window on these phones' 7.6-inch display, which can be unfurled to provide a tablet experience.

At the Galaxy Unpacked event in August of last year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Galaxy Z Fold 3's predecessor's display and SoC were significantly improved for the launch of the devices.
In India, the base model with 256GB of storage was released for Rs. 1,54,999, while models with 512GB and 1TB of storage are priced at Rs. 1,64,999 and Rs. 1,84,999, respectively. It has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection on the display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. One UI 4.1.1 for Android 12 was supported when the device debuted. For biometric authentication, it also incorporates side-mounted fingerprint sensors.
Online leaks recently revealed some of the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5's specifications. A dedicated S Pen slot is expected to be included in the upcoming foldable devices from the South Korean smartphone manufacturer. Additionally, Samsung intends to make the Galaxy Z Fold 5 thinner and lighter than the current version. Additionally, a thinner crease and a more robust design are anticipated.
