Prior to the release of the flagship smartphone, OnePlus has teased the OnePlus 11. In a quick teaser video, OnePlus reveals the phone's design and demonstrates its back camera system. Although the OnePlus 11's specifications have been leaked online in the past, neither OnePlus nor the handset's debut date have been made public. Early in 2023 is when China is expected to receive the rumoured OnePlus 10 Pro successor, and India may also get to see it.

The business previewed the impending OnePlus 11 in a post on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. The company's recognisable alert slider, which is generally featured on its high-end handsets, is showcased in the teaser. It also briefly demonstrates the OnePlus 11's back camera configuration.

The smartphone is also displayed in dark green and black colour variants, and its circular camera module on the back panel houses a triple-camera system in addition to an LED flash. The phone will have a metal frame and a glass back with a glossy finish. The OnePlus 11's back camera configuration is also seen in the teaser, complete with Hasselblad branding.

The OnePlus 11 is seen in the teaser with the volume controls on the left and the power button on the right side. The smartphone's other characteristics are not mentioned in the teaser, but a prior report claims that it would include a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED screen with a hole-punch cutout.

Furthermore, it is anticipated that the phone would debut with storage combinations of 8GB + 128GB and 16GB + 256GB. It is believed to have a 50-megapixel primary IMX890 sensor for still images and movies, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 32-megapixel tertiary sensor. The device reportedly has a 32-megapixel selfie and video calling camera.

In the meanwhile, a OnePlus 11R prototype that just appeared online raises the possibility that the device may include an alert slider and an IR blaster for remote controllers. It is anticipated to be the company's first phone featuring an IR blaster. It will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the same processor that was used on the OnePlus 10T 5G, as per the report.
