The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G has been found on Geekbench, providing a preview of the device's impending release. The South Korean giant has not yet made plans public for the alleged debut of the Galaxy A-series phone. Some of the Samsung Galaxy A54's features, however, have already been leaked via a fresh Geekbench listing. The Samsung Galaxy A54 5G is expected to be released as the follow-up to the Galaxy A53 5G phone that was introduced earlier this year. Like its predecessor, the new phone may be powered by an Exynos processor.
Sam Mobile reports that a Samsung Galaxy phone with the s5e8835 CPU was discovered on the testing website Geekbench. According to the specifications, the alleged Samsung Galaxy A54 5G phone has the same Exynos 1380 CPU as the Samsung Galaxy M54. The chipset is anticipated to debut as the Exynos 1280 processor from Samsung, which powers the Galaxy A33 and A53 5G smartphones, replaces.
According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G received 2,599 points for its multi-core CPU test score and 776 points for its single-core CPU test score. The single score is identical to the Exynos 1280 chipset, indicating that the CPU may include Cortex-A78 cores, but the multicore score has increased by 50% since the previous generation, indicating a notable gain in performance.
According to the entry on Geekbench, the new Exynos 1380 chipset will also allegedly feature four high-performance CPU cores clocked at 2.4GHz in addition to four power-efficient CPU cores rated at 2GHz. 5.13GB of RAM are also stated as being included in the device.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 was originally discovered under the model number SM-A5460 on China's Compulsory Certification (3C) website. According to the ad, the phone will enable 25W fast charging out of the box. Additionally, a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz is anticipated, as well as three back cameras. According to reports, the display will also have a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
