Following our revelation that WhatsApp is creating an official WhatsApp conversation on the same platform where they will reveal new features in the future, we learned that the firm is also working on editing messages on WhatsApp Desktop beta.

We learned that WhatsApp is developing an official WhatsApp conversation in the future after the 2.22.17.10 update for Android was made available. The similar discussion was also uncovered while the WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.20.0.71 upgrade was being developed. This discussion was only available on the web/desktop client, but we've now learned that it's currently being worked on the WhatsApp Desktop beta:
This screenshot demonstrates how WhatsApp intends to provide a new verified conversation where you can seek advice, get updates, and learn about the newest features. No one can intercept messages in the official WhatsApp discussion since it is a read-only, end-to-end encrypted chat. You may mute or ban this chat if you don't enjoy getting messages from WhatsApp.
