DO NOT DISTURB API

We announced information about a new feature that is in development in the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.21.7 update: the capacity to use the Do Not Disturb API. This function makes it simple to comprehend if you missed a call as a result of your do not disturb settings. The functionality is now accessible for some beta testers thanks to the most recent upgrade of WhatsApp beta, which is accessible through the Play Store:

To check if the function is already accessible for your account, as seen in this picture, just enable do not disturb mode in your phone's settings and ask a buddy to contact you for a short while. If you notice a new label that reads "Silenced by Do Not Disturb," it signifies that your WhatsApp account now has access to the function.

The recipient won't be aware that you missed the call because your phone is set to the do not disturb mode, so take note that this information only appears to you.

Some beta testers received the support for missed calls in Do Not Disturb mode today, and more users will receive it over the next few days.
