The Honor 80 series debut is less than a week away, and the company has already begun revealing crucial details. Honor revealed a few days ago that the smartphone will be introduced in China on November 23. They later revealed details about the chipset, and now they have revealed the camera specifications for the Honor 80 series. According to a poster shared by the company, the upcoming Honor 80 series will feature a 160-megapixel primary camera.

The camera technology in the Honor 80 series might be a bespoke edition of the Samsung ISOCELL HPX 200-megapixel camera, according to a recent leak by popular source Digital Chat Station. Honor has officially confirmed, through Weibo, that the next series will include a 160-megapixel primary back camera. This could be a customised version of the Samsung ISOCELL sensor.

In addition, the Honor 80 series launch poster indicates that the gadget would include two front-facing cameras located prominently in a pill-shaped cutout. It resembles the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro.

Honor has confirmed in another poster, also shared on Weibo, that the Honor 80 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 782G SoC, whereas the Honor 80 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

Specifications for the Honor 80 series (rumoured)

According to reports, the Honor 80 series will include up to four models: the Honor 80 SE, Honor 80, Honor 80 Pro, and Honor 80 Pro+. While the Honor 80 basic model and Pro variant have previously been revealed to be powered by the Snapdragon 782G and Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets, respectively, the SE model may be fitted with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.

According to prior rumours, the Honor 80 Pro and Honor 80 Pro+ would have 66W and 100W fast charging capability, respectively. All three devices are said to run Android 13 with the latest Magic UI 7.0 on top.

At the November 23 launch event, the Chinese smartphone company will also unveil the Honor Magic Vs, the company's second foldable smartphone, in addition to the Honor 80 series.
