One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13, is purportedly being upgraded for the Samsung Galaxy A71. According to reports, the update is starting to go out to Samsung phones in Europe earlier than expected. According to reports, Poland will soon receive the Galaxy A71 upgrade with firmware version A715FXXU8DVK1. The upgrade is believed to provide the phone access to the October 2022 security patch. The Samsung Galaxy A71 first became available in India in February 2020 with Android 10, then in March of this year it received the One UI 4.0 upgrade.
SamMobile recently reported that the Samsung Galaxy A71 devices in Poland are now receiving the One UI 5.0 update, which is based on Android 13. The update is claimed to be arriving on devices earlier than expected and has the firmware version A715FXXU8DVK1.
The current version is also reported to provide the security patch for October 2022 for the device. The Samsung Galaxy A71 is reportedly receiving its final OS upgrade with the One UI 5 on Android 13 version.
Users can see if the update has been installed on their Samsung Galaxy A71 5G by going to Settings > Software update > Download and Install.
The Samsung device debuted in India in February 2020 and shipped pre-installed with One UI 2.0, which is based on Android 10. The Samsung Galaxy A71 included a 4,500mAh battery and a quad camera system on the back.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core SoC and 8GB of RAM power the phone. A 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens make up the Samsung Galaxy A71's quad rear camera system. A 5-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.2 lens and a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens are also included in the camera setup. There is a selfie camera with a 32-megapixel resolution and an f/2.2 lens up front.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A71 includes a 4,500mAh battery with 25W rapid charging capability.
