The Chinese smartphone manufacturer unveiled the Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro on Tuesday in addition to the Vivo X90 series, its top-tier model. In comparison to the Vivo TWS 2 series, the company's newest truly wireless (TWS) earbuds provide better noise cancelling on both models. Both TWS 3 variants include wide-band speakers that can reproduce sounds between 5Hz and 40kHz and support Qualcomm's aptX Lossless codec, which operates at a bitrate of 1.2Mbps. A single 12.2mm driver with a 3-layer nano-composite diaphragm is present in the earphones.

Price and Availability of the Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro

The cost of the recently released Vivo TWS 3 is CNY 500 (about Rs. 5,750), while the cost of the Vivo TWS 3 Pro model earphones is CNY 1000. (roughly Rs. 11,500).

The earphones may be ordered in advance in China. On November 30, the plain Vivo TWS 3 will go on sale. The Pro model of Vivo's upcoming truly wireless earbuds will be available starting on December 6. Both models are offered in the colours White and Blue Hue.

Specifications for the Vivo TWS 3 and TWS 3 Pro

The Vivo TWS 3 and Vivo TWS 3 Pro variants of the Chinese smartphone manufacturer's new TWS earphones have an improvement in noise-cancellation levels over its predecessors. The Vivo TWS 3 model can handle noises with a frequency of up to 4,000Hz and offers noise reduction of up to 48dB. The Vivo TWS 3 Pro versions, meanwhile, cut noise by 49dB. The Pro model, according to the manufacturer, is made to have a total harmonic distortion plus noise (TNS+N) value of 0.002 percent or less and to create minimal distortion.

According to Vivo, both earbuds include a 12.2mm driver with a 3-layer nano-composite diaphragm. They may be used to listen to high-quality audio tracks because they include aptX Lossless support at 1.2Mbps bitrate.

According to Vivo, the earbuds can play sounds with a frequency range of 5Hz to 40kHz. Both models support Bluetooth 5.3 and LE Audio on the connectivity front, which helps to reduce latency to 55ms. Additionally, the models include 360-degree spatial audio.

Like the OnePlus Buds Pro and Apple's AirPods, Vivo's upcoming earbuds have an identical utility-equipped stem design that also serves as a pressure-sensitive control panel. Like the AirPods Pro, you can swipe up and down to control the volume or squeeze the stem to pause and restart playback (2022).

ANC noise level adjustments that are triggered to match a user's surroundings with flexibility for enhancing human speech recognised while someone is talking to the wearer are among the interesting features on the Vivo TWS 3 and Vivo TWS 3 Pro models. According to Vivo, the earbuds also have high-quality binaural audio recording, which makes use of three microphones per bud and is also used for ANC during calls.

With ANC turned off, the stock Vivo TWS 3 earbuds provide 10 hours of music playing on a single charge and 40 hours of total listening time when used with the charging case. The Vivo TWS 3 Pro earbuds, which do not include ANC, have a playing time of 6.8 hours and a recharge time of 30 hours.
