The Tecno Phantom X2 series, the company's next flagship line that will replace the Tecno Phantom X series, is scheduled to make its debut in Dubai with the Tecno Phantom X2 model. The keynote addresses from Mediatek, a supplier of chipsets, and the Editor-at-Large of Forbes Magazine were also part of the Counterpoint Research-organized webinar in London where the Chinese smartphone manufacturer made the news. The Phantom X2 and X2 Pro models are anticipated to be part of Tecno's most recent flagship lineup.

The introduction of the Tecno Phantom X2 series on December 7 has been announced by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. It has been hinted that the Tecno Phantom X2 and Tecno Phantom X2 Pro smartphones in this series would have enhanced image-capturing capabilities. Multi-exposure and sophisticated HDR shooting settings are said to be the upgrades, and they could make it easier to take pictures in low light.

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, which has four power-efficient cores running at 1.8 GHz, three A710 cores running at 2.85 GHz, and one fast Cortex-X2 core operating at 3 GHz, is anticipated to power the Tecno Phantom X2 and Tecno Phantom X2 Pro versions.According to the company, the upcoming flagship series will feature "Phantom's trailblazing innovation" at its best, supported by a top-tier SoC built on the TSMC 4 nm process node and optimised to provide better performance and lower power consumption.

Recall that the Tecno Phantom Xs was introduced in India in May of last year, with the sole 8GB + 256GB storage variant retailing for Rs. 25,999. The smartphone also included virtual RAM expansion support for up to 5GB and 33W fast charging.
