Xiaomi's Mobile Product Manager recently hinted that a new smartphone is on the road, and evidence suggests that it might be the Xiaomi Civi 2 - a successor to the Xiaomi Civi, which debuted precisely one year ago.
According to reports, the Civi 2 will be available this month and will have the brand new Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 CPU. For comparison, the Civi has a Snapdragon 778G on board, thus everything checks out. The model number 2209129SC has already been approved by China's 3C authorities.
According to a Chinese leak, the phone would include a 6.56-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, up to 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The lights will be kept on by a 4,500mAh battery. with support for 67W fast charging.
The device will offer 50MP OIS-aided main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera and 2MP shooter, likely for macro photography.
