Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the Xiaomi 12T series globally. The Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro will be the first smartphones in the series. These devices will also be available in China under the Redmi K50S and K50S Pro brand names.
The tablet is scheduled to be released globally in the coming weeks, but it has already emerged on Geekbench, disclosing some critical characteristics.
According to the listing, the Xiaomi 22071212AG (Xiaomi 12T) sports an octa-core processor with four cores running at 2.85GHz and the remaining four running at 2.0GHz. The Dimensity 8100 chipset is equipped with the Mali G610 GPU.
According to the ad, the handset has 8GB of RAM and runs Android 12. In terms of benchmarks, theGeekbench 5 gives the device 753 points in the single-core test and 2990 points in the multi-core test. The item does not give any more information; nonetheless, the smartphone was recently sold in Peru ahead of its availability, disclosing all of its specs.

The Xiaomi 12T is equipped with a 6.67-inch centred punch-hole OLED display with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. For security, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The gadget is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. A triple camera system on the rear includes a 108MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.On the front, though, there is a 20MP selfie camera. Currently, the primary camera can only capture videos in 4K 30fps.
In addition, the device runs MIUI 13 on Android 12. It includes a 5,000mAh battery and enables cable charging at 120W. The charger is included in the retail package.
