Xiaomi will soon release its first phone with a 200MP camera, and unlike the 12S Ultra, it will be sold in the United States. The Xiaomi 12T Pro will be accompanied by a standard 12T variant.
Both phones will have flat 6.67" AMOLED panels with 1,220 x 2,712px resolution (sometimes known as "1.5K" since it lies between FHD+ and QHD+). The screens will feature a refresh rate of 120Hz and Gorilla Glass 5.
The batteries will be the same as well, with a capacity of 5,000mAh and a charging speed of 120W. (wired, no word on wireless). While these two are pretty high-end versions, Xiaomi is said to be saving money by moving from a metal frame (as seen on the 12/12S) to a plastic frame. In each case, where theThe main cameras and the processor of the two phones vary.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro will have a 200MP camera with an aperture of f/1.69 and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). This is most likely the same Samsung HP1 sensor (1/1.22") used in the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, although with a smaller f/1.9 aperture.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor utilised in the 12S phones will also be used in the Pro variant. It will be coupled with 8/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of storage in this configuration.
