The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 has an intriguing feature called Taskbar, which allows you to show a Taskbar at the bottom of the screen with several shortcuts. In this article, I'll show you how to use the Taskbar to improve your user experience.

The Galaxy Z Fold 4 may be operating on One UI 4.1, the classic Samsung shell, but it also features a Taskbar functionality from Android 12L. This function allows you to instantly access 8 programmes without having to dismiss one of them, as well as juggle with the numerous multitasking shortcuts that Samsung has provided.

The Taskbar is active by default and appears at the bottom of your screen when you run an application, but you may enable/disable it manually:

Navigate to the Settings menu.

Go to the screen.

Turn on the Taskbar slider.

Why is the Taskbar on the Galaxy Z Fold 4 so useful?

The first advantage of Samsung's Taskbar is that it makes switching between programmes a snap. You may dynamically reveal and conceal it with a long tap at the bottom of the screen. Best of all, switching from one app to another no longer requires you to end an app or navigate through the recent applications carousel.

You have six fixed slots to access the following apps quickly: phone, messages, Samsung internet, Samsung notes, Gallery, and camera. Unfortunately, these half-dozen slots are neither convertible or replaceable. There are two more places designated just for freshly opened applicants.

You have six permanent slots in which you may instantly access the following apps: phone, messages, Samsung internet, Samsung notes, Gallery, and camera. Unfortunately, neither of these half-dozen slots is convertible or interchangeable. There are two extra spots reserved only for newly opened candidates.

I realise I'm gushing over the specifics of an Android skin. However, Samsung has created a really well-thought-out system. We're always hearing about organic and invisible technology. Samsung's Taskbar is a minor game changer in terms of productivity, immersion, and intuitiveness.

What are your thoughts on the Taskbar on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4? Did you know that it will also be applied on the manufacturer's previous foldable smartphones?
