After releasing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.20.4, WhatsApp decided to create a new camera shortcut in order to help consumers rapidly open the camera when the camera tab is not available. In fact, when the feature that allows us to create a community is available, WhatsApp will replace the camera tab with the communities tab. Unfortunately, something went wrong, and those who still have the camera tab may see the shortcut for the camera as well!
WhatsApp recently issued the 2.22.20.5 beta update; since it is a bug-fix update that specifically fixes this problem, no additional information was uncovered in this version. In actuality, we anticipated that the new camera shortcut would only be disabled for users who could access it through the camera tab, but it has also been disabled for the fortunate beta testers who can build a community.
