WhatsApp has released a new update via the Google Play Beta Program, bringing the app's version number up to 2.22.20.11.

In our story on the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.10.11 upgrade, we mentioned a new feature in the works: the ability to generate polls. Group members will be able to share polls with other members of the group thanks to this functionality. It will be able to add up to 12 choices, although this number may vary when the functionality is released.
There was still no way to access this area, but due to the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.20.11 upgrade, we learned that this is precisely what WhatsApp is working on right now for the future:
As seen in the picture, an entry point for the functionality will be present within the standard chat action sheet, where you can find all other media sharing choices, and it opens the area that we discovered during the development of WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.10.11. Furthermore, we can confirm that the same shortcut will be accessible in a future release of WhatsApp Desktop beta and WhatsApp beta for iOS.
Because this feature is still in development, it is not yet available to users; however, after installing this update, more beta testers may be able to manage who can see when they are online on WhatsApp, so be sure to update to this version if you were unable to use this feature in the previous update!
As previously said, the ability to generate polls is still in development, therefore we do not know when it will be available. As is customary, when there is fresh information in a new update, we will publish a new article.
