Availability? | WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.17 is marked as compatible update but some lucky beta testers may be able to get these features after installing some previous updates as well. |
I’ve installed this update but I don’t see these features. Why? | WhatsApp is releasing these features to more beta testers today, but some time may still be needed before rolling out these features for everyone. |

We reported that WhatsApp was giving group admins the ability to remove other members' messages for everyone in their groups in the post about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.17.12 release. This functionality was previously only available to a select set of beta testers, but as of today, more group admins can utilise it thanks to the new WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.19.17 upgrade!
Simply attempt to delete a message posted by another user within a group where you are an admin to see if the option is finally enabled for your account. If "delete for everyone" appears, the functionality is then functional for your account. Furthermore, a test for users of stable versions of the app is now accessible, meaning group administrators on non-beta versions might also be able to delete messages for everyone.
Not only that, but WhatsApp is now making it possible to check status updates directly from the conversation list. After installing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.18.17 update, even this capability was previously only available to a select few lucky beta testers, but the deployment is now more widespread. You can mute status updates from the status tab if you don't enjoy seeing them in the chat list and don't even use them.
so that they won't longer be visible in the chat list.
After installing the most recent beta today, these features are now accessible to additional beta testers. If you still don't have these features, don't panic; they will gradually be made available to more and more users over the next few weeks.
