As part of Flipkart's Big Billion Days 2022 event, the Poco M5 went on sale for the first time in India today at 1pm IST after being introduced last week. The 6.58-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD screen on this budget-friendly phone has a waterdrop notch to house the front camera. This Poco smartphone has a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is powered by an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 SoC.
Poco M5 cost and availability in India
As part of Flipkart's Big Billion Days 2022 sale, the Poco M5 will be made available for purchase for the first time in India at 1pm IST. For Rs. 12,499 and Rs. 14,499, respectively, it provides two configuration options: 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Icy Blue, Poco Yellow, and Power Black are the available colour options for this new Poco smartphone.
Holders of ICICI Bank and Axis Bank credit cards are eligible for a 10% discount up to Rs. 1,500 during the Big Billion Days 2022 event. Thanks to the bank promotions, customers may purchase the Poco M5 for Rs. 10,999 without a trade-in. Additionally, the Poco M5 comes with a 1-year subscription to the Disney+ Hotstar streaming services.
Poco M5 characteristics and specifications
A 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) IPS LCD screen with variable refresh rate support from 30Hz to 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz is featured on this new smartphone. The display has a notch in the shape of a waterdrop and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. A MediaTek Helio G99 SoC along with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage power the Poco M5.
It has three rear cameras, the 50 megapixel main sensor serving as the focal point. Additionally, the Poco M5 has an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. According to its manufacturer, its 5,000mAh battery supports 18W rapid charging and provides two days of backup per charge. It is a 4G phone with Bluetooth v5.3, an IR blaster, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack as additional features.
