One of the biggest companies in the markets for huge screens is Samsung. The technological behemoth from South Korea has proven its prowess with smart TVs and monitors and is now satisfying consumer demands with feature-rich devices in this market. Samsung smart TVs come equipped with a variety of high-tech features that you would find on any premium smart TV.
With contemporary Samsung smart TVs, you can browse the internet, connect wireless gadgets, and much more. Another practical feature that most of the most recent Samsung smart TVs support is screen sharing. Samsung is renowned for integrating unique features into its selection of smart TVs. Since we're talking about screen sharing, two of these features that make it simple to do so are Tap View and Multi-View.
You may send data, such as pictures and movies, from your smartphones and other mobile devices, such as tablets, to your smart TV using the Tap View feature. The Multi View feature, on the other hand, enables users to simultaneously view a split screen for several content kinds on the TV. Users of Samsung smart TVs can also sort content and choose a screen size (small or large) using the Multi View function.
How To Share A Screen Using Tap View On A Samsung Smart TV
You would need to have the Samsung SmartThings app installed on your individual phones in order to enjoy the Tap View and Multi View features on your Samsung smart TV. Make sure to get it from the appropriate Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your Android or iPhone if you don't already have it.
Step 1: Launch the SmartThings mobile application on your respective smartphones.
Step 2: Click on the Settings menu from the app’s home screen.
Step 3: Scroll to the Tap View option and toggle it on.
Step 4: Now, move your smartphone closer to the TV and wait for the Allow phone presence option on the app. That’s all you need to activate the Tap View screen sharing feature on Samsung smart TVs.
