Swan is a renowned British company that has been creating fashionable cookware and appliances with exceptional performance since the 1920s. Most of their collection is offered in a wide range of vibrant hues, including sky blue (our favourite), deep red, delicate green, conventional cream, and modern black.

We were immediately taken to the retro-styling, vintage-inspired, lovely design of the Swan Retro Pump Espresso Coffee Machine. One of the first elements you notice is the huge pressure dial with a wide ring and chrome-effect housing in the middle of the appliance. The attention then shifts to the side to observe the three buttons that regulate the cup's size. Just below the one-touch buttons is a milk frother that may be used to make frothy lattes.

One of the most reasonably priced espresso coffee makers on the market, it can be purchased from Amazon(opens in new tab) and other shops for £108 ($124.32 / $AU 182.58). If we were heading off to college or university, we would bring this machine with us.

We were impressed by how versatile the coffee maker is despite the fact that we were unable to test it out (this will happen shortly). So much more than an espresso can be produced by it. You can also enjoy lighter flavours like a cappuccino, latte, and flat white with its 15 bars of pressure, which is the maximum amount you want to apply to an espresso.

The majority of coffee specialties can be made feasible by the milk tank and milk frothing steamer that are both removable. If you're not in the mood for coffee, we believe you could prepare hot chocolate using the milk warming features.

The drip tray's adjustable design is a feature we adore. This is incredibly helpful for accommodating the many mug and cup sizes you might choose to use. A little espresso cup (for espressos) and a taller, glass mug (for lattes) are essential for the serious coffee connoisseur. No worries if you're not a coffee enthusiast; your favourite mug will still hold a cup of coffee that tastes just as good.

Although a filter coffee maker can be purchased for around half the price of this coffee maker, if you want to be able to brew a latte, cappuccino, or espresso with the push of a button and in style, this is the machine for you.
