Remember the vivo X Fold S, which was going to be released soon? It turns out that when it eventually hits the market, it will be known as the vivo X Fold+ 5G. TENAA just validated the smartphone for sale in China, and this procedure showed that it had a 4,600 mAh battery capacity (made up of two 2,300 mAh parts).
As the name suggests, the gadget also supports 5G, with bands N1, N28, N41, N78, and N79. It is powered by Android 12.
According to previous leaks and reports, the vivo X Fold+ 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and will offer 80W fast charging (up from 8 Gen).1 and 66W on the original X Fold, respectively).
The TENAA certification suggests that a slightly larger 4,700 mAh battery was also rumoured, but it didn't turn out and the X Fold+ will have to make due with the same capacity as its predecessor.
The official announcement can't be long away now that it's been certified for sale. Stay tuned and we'll let you know when the vivo X Fold+ 5G is introduced, but don't get your hopes up if it's exclusively available in China, like it was with the original.
