According to a report, the Redmi Note 12 will once again have a 50-megapixel back camera. The phone is supposed to have a rectangular shape with straight edges. It is expected to look similar to the existing Redmi Note 11 series. The device is likely to have a flat display with a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. According to MyDrivers and tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi Note 12 will have a design identical to the Redmi Note 11 series. It is reported to keep its rectangular shape with straight edges. The phone might have a flat display with "crisp edges" and a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.

According to the source, the Redmi Note 12 would include a 50-megapixel primary rear camera. This is consistent with a prior report citing the same source. According to MyDrivers, the smartphone will include a triple back camera configuration. It is believed to have a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera in addition to the 50-megapixel main sensor.

According to the leak, the Redmi Note 12 would offer 120W fast charging. The device is expected to make its debut in China this year, followed by worldwide markets in the first quarter of 2023. Inside the package, the phone will have a USB charging adaptor and a cord. It is reported to charge completely in around 20 minutes.

According to another source, the Redmi Note 12 series would feature the Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+. In China, two Redmi Note 12 series phones are said to have secured network access licences. According to the source, the two smartphones are designated L16 and L16U.
