The Realme C30 was released in June, and it is now joined by the Realme C30s. The phones appear fairly similar, with identical cameras, displays, and user interfaces, but the S model includes a new CPU and a fingerprint scanner on the side.



The Unisoc platform SC9863A powers the Realme C30s. It contains eight Cortex-A55 CPU cores divided into two clusters - four performance units at 1.6 GHz and the remainder for efficiency at 1.2 GHz. There are two memory capacities available: 2/32 GB and 4/64 GB.


The Realme C30 predecessor lacked a fingerprint reader, but the C30s features one on the power button on the right side, just below the volume rocker. The 6.5" LCD with HD+ resolution and waterdrop notch remain on the front. the 5MP selfie camera. The main shooter on the back is also unchanged - 8MP.

The C30s comes with a rudimentary Realme UI based on Android 12 (Go version), which is designed for low-cost smartphones. It still has a large 5,000 mAh battery that is charged through a microUSB connector on the bottom. A 3.5mm audio connector is also included, and the tray on the left can hold two SIM cards and a microSD card.

The Realme C30s is available in Blue and Black and costs INR7,499 ($95) or INR8,999 ($113), depending on storage capacity. Sales will commence on the company's website on September 23.
