The GoPro Hero 11 Black, as well as the GoPro Hero 11 Mini and GoPro Hero 11 Creator Edition, were recently introduced. The new cameras have a bigger sensor than the Hero 10 Black and can capture photographs and movies with an 8:7 aspect ratio. They also support 10-bit colour depth. The Hero 11 Black series has the next-generation HyperSmooth 5.0 stabilisation system, a redesigned HyperView lens, and a simplified user interface for novices. The Hero 11 Black now comes with GoPro's Enduro battery, which claims to increase recording duration by up to 38% over the normal battery.

Specifications for the GoPro Hero 11 Black

The dimensions of the GoPro Hero 11 Black are identical to those of the Hero 10 Black. It has the same 2.27-inch touchscreen display on the rear as the previous model, as well as a colour LCD display on the front for a live preview. It uses GoPro's GP2 processor and has the same tough construction. The camera is also waterproof to 10 metres without the need of a housing.

A bigger 1/1.9-inch sensor (vs 1/2.3-inch sensor in the Hero 10 Black) with a native 8:7 aspect ratio is one of the new features of the Hero 11 Black. Shooting using this field of view, according to GoPro, allows you to trim your photo or video to a 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio with the Quik app without compromising quality.

The new camera also has 10-bit colour shooting, HyperSmooth 5.0 video stabilisation with 360-degree Horizon Lock, new Timelapse modes for recording star trails or car light trails, and a redesigned UI with Easy Controls for first-time users. According to the firm, GoPro Subscription, the company's premium cloud backup service, will now send you an Auto Highlight video right to your phone once footage from the Hero 11 Black is auto-uploaded to the cloud.

The GoPro Hero 11 Creator Edition is intended for vloggers and video makers. The Hero 11 Black camera, Volta battery grip, Media Mod, and Light Mod are all included in the bundle.

Specifications for the GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini

The GoPro Hero 11 Black Mini is a throwback to the Hero Session series, and it's practically the same as the Hero 11 Black but in a smaller package and without the touchscreen display. It's the same height as the 11 Black, but thicker and narrower. It is also lighter, weighing only 133g. The Hero 11 Black Mini is intended for usage in cramped quarters and is touted to be optimised for helmet attachment owing to a second pair of mounting fingers on the rear.

The Mini has a single monochrome status monitor on the top for checking settings, however customising shooting modes and previews will need using the Quik app on a linked phone. While the Mini offers most of the same photo and video recording choices as the normal Hero 11 Black, it lacks several advanced functions like as RAW photo capture, GPS, scheduled capture, and webcam mode.
