According to a recent SamMobile report, the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G will receive the September 2022 security update. As previously said, the devices will initially receive the update in European nations. Meanwhile, customers of the Galaxy Z Flip and Z Flip 5G in other countries may receive the update in the following days.
The update for the Galaxy Z Flip comes with the firmware version F700FXXUAHVH9, which was published in Italy, while the upgrade for the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is available across Europe with the firmware version F707BXXU7HVH9.
The September 2022 security patch is expected to address 24 security and privacy flaws. None of those flaws were apparently classified as 'critical.' There are 21 high priorities and three moderate priorities among the 24.
Users in Europe with a Galaxy Z Flip or a Galaxy Z Flip 5G may get the latest software update by going to Settings > Software update and pressing on Download and Install.
