With the exception of the Google Pixel 6a, the first Android 13 security update started trickling out to eligible Pixel devices last week. The update for the Google Pixel 6a has arrived and is already rolling out, despite Google's previous warning that it might be slightly delayed.
The build number is TP1A.2209505.004.A2, and it is the September security patch. The update from last week included improvements for battery waste, a Bluetooth problem, and a notification bug. Google also pushed several enhancements to the in-display fingerprint scanner's dependability and performance.
Google also made enhancements to in-display scanners in late last week's release of the first QPR1 Beta build for Android 13 across Pixel devices. You should download the most recent update, which will enhance the in-display scanning experience, whether or not you are running the QPR1 Beta.
