  Honor has announced that the Honor X40 5G, a new X-series smartphone, will go on sale in China on September 15. The Chinese company recently unveiled the device's appearance and design in a teaser video. Let's look at the specifics after the most recent development, in which a well-known tipster disclosed the Honor X40 5G's complete specifications.



The incoming Honor X40 5G will have a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, according to renowned Chinese source Digital Chat Station, who also released the full list of specifications for the device. A hole will be carved out in the centre for the selfie camera. The display will also feature 10 Bit colour, high-frequency PWM eye protection dimming, and a 120Hz refresh rate.depth.

The tipster also states that the Honor X40 5G would have two rear cameras, one with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and the other with a 2-megapixel sensor. It is rumoured to contain an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls.


The phone will reportedly have a Snapdragon 695 processor inside, along with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage. It will include a 5100mAh battery and 40W quick charging capability. The smartphone will be 161.6x73.9x7.9mm in size and 172g in weight. It will run Magic UI 6.1, which is based on Android 12, as its operating system.

The X40 5G smartphone includes a curved edge display that is likely integrated with a fingerprint sensor, as was previously suggested in a teaser video published by Honor. It has a ring-shaped camera module with a twin camera system on the back. The overall appearance of the smartphone is rather upscale.
