The Huawei Watch D, the company's flagship wristwatch, was introduced in China last year. The smartphone was recently on display at the IFA Berlin, signalling that it is ready to make its debut on a global scale.
The Huawei Watch D will soon be released in the European market, according to the Chinese giant, but neither the precise launch date nor the names of the nations where it will be formally announced have been revealed.
The Huawei Watch D will be released by the end of this year, according to the company's announcement that it will be made accessible in the European market this fall. It is anticipated to cost €449 in total.
Given that the Huawei wristwatch has a built-in blood pressure monitor, it costs more than the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro at this price point. Additionally, it has a skin temperature sensor, an electrocardiogram (ECG), a heart rate monitor, and a SpO2 sensor that can measure blood oxygen levels.
The high-hardness aviation aluminium body of the Huawei Watch D was specially manufactured for it to be more durable and scratch-resistant. It has a 1.64-inch HD display with a pixel density of 326PPI. Thedevice is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance and is also the industry’s first watch with blood pressure monitoring support to come with such a rating.
It also supports heart rate detection through an eight-channel high-sensitivity optical sensor and has support for 70+ sports modes. As for the battery life, the company says that the device should last for seven days on a single charge when using all the features, and then it can be charged through wireless charging.
