At its debut event last week, Apple as usual omitted announcing the iPhone 14 series' battery life. Even Apple.com's official descriptions of the iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max omit information about the precise dimensions of their batteries. The battery size of all four iPhone 14 models has been revealed in a recent report by Macrumors, however it simply claims that the iPhone 14 series has a "all-day battery life."
The magazine used a Chinese regulatory database to gather the battery information for the iPhone 14 models. The battery life of each iPhone 14 series device is listed below:
3,279 mAh, iPhone 14.
4,325mAh for the iPhone 14 Plus
3,200mAh for the iPhone 14 Pro
4,323mAh for the iPhone 14 Pro.
Comparatively, the iPhone 13 mini has a 2,406mAh battery, the iPhone 13 has a 3,227mAh battery, the iPhone 13 Pro has a 3,095mAh battery, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a 4,352mAh battery.
The iPhone 14 Plus, as can be seen, has the biggest battery ever installed in an iPhone. The iPhone 14 Pro Max, which has roughly the same battery as the Plus model, will reportedly have a longer battery life, according to the official listing of the iPhone 14 series. It's most likely because the Pro model has a ProMotion display, which reportedly supports a variable refresh rate of 10Hz to 120Hz.
Apple started taking pre-orders for the iPhone 14 series on Friday, September 9. The three variants will all be available for purchase on September 16 with the Plus variant going on sale on October 7.
