We had the opportunity to spend some time with the Motorola Edge 30 Neo after the company earlier today unveiled three new Edge 30 series phones. Here are our initial thoughts.

It's not a negative thing that the phone feels light in the hand. Moto Edge 30 Neo seems sturdy despite being constructed of plastic, and the back has a lovely frosted covering to deter smudges. Additionally, the back tapers to the sides, improving the in-hand feel.

The Motorola and Pantone partnership's initial product, the Edge 30 Neo, is available in four colour options: Aqua Foam, Ice Palace, Black Onyx, and Veri Peri. The Pantone colour for 2022 is the latter. and it stands out from the rest with its vibrant purple hue.

With just one hand, the 6.28-inch OLED screen feels approachable, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes the UI and apps feel responsive. The power and volume keys are located on the right side, however there are no buttons or cutouts on the left. Next to the SIM slot and USB-C port on the bottom is a single speaker.

With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, the Edge 30 Neo offers 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. We may anticipate strong performance in routine work from this midrange processor because it has demonstrated its worth over time.

An average camera combination for 2022 is a 64MP main camera with OIS and a 13MP ultrawide module on the back. In our comprehensive review, we'll make sure to put it to the test.
