It is not surprising that other Android smartphone makers are required to update their handsets to Android 13 in order to receive the most recent customization and privacy feature updates from Google, given that Android 13 was released by Google last month.
Realme, the sister company of Oppo, has also announced today that Realme would be releasing its Realme UI 4.0 operating system based on the most recent Android 13 upgrade next week. This comes after Oppo introduced its most recent ColorOS 13 based on Android 13 in China.
Realme China's Chief Software Engineer, Rain Chen, claimed on Weibo that the business is preparing to introduce Realme UI 4.0 the following week, in the middle of September. At the launch, Realme will announce which of its existing Realme devices running Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 will be eligible for the Realme UI 4.0 major OS update as well as the Realme UI 4.0 update roadmap for 2022 and 2023.
Realme GT 2 Pro users will receive the Realme UI 4.0 Open Beta before the end of this month, according to Chen's announcement post from today, and Realme GT 2 Master Explorer Edition and Realme 2 users will receive the Realme UI 4.0 Early Access.GT Neo 3 smartphone users starting as soon as next month.
