With different companies bringing famous video game titles to the mobile market, Ubisoft opted to make the switch with Rainbow Six Siege, one of its most successful online multiplayer games. The Rainbow Six Mobile port has now entered closed beta. So, let us have a look.
Rainbox Six Mobile, for those who are unaware, follows a similar format and gameplay to its PC and console predecessors. It's a 5v5 tactical shooter in which two teams compete against one another. However, unlike the PC and console versions, the game is intended to be free to play, and its beta test began on September 12. As of now, the new mobile game is only available in seven countries: the United States, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, and the Philippines. and India.
Furthermore, the developers have also stated that they plan on sharing more invites and bring new changes to the beta program as well. Ubisoft announced through its official Twitter handle that it is rolling out invitations for some pre-registered users through Google Play in selected Closed Beta eligible regions. In other words, even registered users will not immediately get access to the game, but the company plans on slowly increasing the number of beta players and frequency of invitations over the next couple of weeks.
Unfortunately, the close beta test for Rainbox Six Mobile is now only available to Android users. For those who are interested, the beta test will include the original 5v5 Attack versus Defense game format, as well as the PC and console versions of the game. There are numerous operators in the game, each with their own distinctive device that contributes to the 'tactical' shooter part of the game. There are now two game types in the beta, including Bomb and Secure Area, as well as two maps, Bank and Border.
