In the days leading up to the release of the iPhone 14 and other products this week, rumours of a more robust, athlete-focused Apple Watch have been circulating, and a fresh batch of design leaks have just fueled the fire.

On Twitter (opens in new tab) and Weibo, respectively, tipsters Sonny Dickson and UnclePan have shared new images that purport to show a number of third-party accessories for the still-tentatively-named Apple Watch Pro. Importantly, these silicone-appearing shells have cutouts that, if true, support earlier claims claiming that the highly awaited wearable will feature a whole redesigned button and a larger display.

The cases in question also have a sizable right-side protrusion that appears to be meant to fit a larger digital crown that would be easier for users to access when moving quickly outside. See for yourself by viewing the pictures below.

The Apple Watch Pro will purportedly include a considerably larger display that enables users to simultaneously examine fitness and health-tracking data, in addition to a new button and a bigger digital crown.

Mark Gurman, chief Apple correspondent for Bloomberg, believes that the Pro model, which is anticipated to be an upgraded version of the Apple Watch 8, would also include new watch faces and a low-power mode.

It's important to note that Apple has not yet made any official mention of an Apple Watch Pro, but considering the number of encouraging leaks we've seen in recent weeks, we're confident in its existence, in some form or another. Given that Apple has already incorporated Pro versions into nearly all of its popular product categories, this device seems like a reasonable next step for the firm.

At the company's upcoming Apple Event, which is set for September 7, we anticipate a formal announcement for the product as well as the introduction of the Apple Watch SE 2 and Apple Watch Series 8.
