A change in cost is anticipated because Apple is eliminating one iPhone model (the small) and adding one (the vanilla Max). Some analysts have projected a $100 price increase for the two Pro models, while TrendForce believes that the increase would be less.

In fact, compared to the iPhone 13, which started at $800, the iPhone 14 may be $50 less expensive. Of course, the cheapest new (non-SE) model last year was the $700 iPhone 13 mini. If the forecasts come true, you should plan to spend at least $750 or $800 on a new mainstream iPhone this year.

The new iPhone 14 Max will cost $100 higher than the prior model, according to analysts. vanilla model, which will put its price at $850 or $900, depending on exactly which analysts are right.

Something else they agree on – the two Pro models are going up the price ladder. There is no consensus on whether it’s by $50 or by $100 (TrendForce says $50), but that new hardware doesn’t come cheap.

The vanilla duo will miss out on enhancements that the pros will receive. This consists of the new Apple A16 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, new 120Hz LTPO screens with AOD capabilities and a new Face ID system, as well as new super wide cameras, 48MP main cameras with 8K video recording, and more. The new chipset won't even be available for the standard iPhone 14 and 14 Max (if the rumours are to be believed).

We'll see how that works, but despite all Apple is reportedly anticipating high sales for the iPhone 14 series. You may expect the official prices and features to be revealed on September 7 (Wednesday of the next week).
