At its I/O developer conference in May, Google first previewed its future Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones as well as the Pixel Watch. Today, the company is back with an official date for their full announcement. The timing of this announcement has nothing to do with tomorrow's major fall event from Apple. Right?

The new chipset's name has also been revealed by the firm, and it will power the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. won't be called Tensor 2 as everyone assumed, but Tensor G2 instead. "G" for Google, perhaps?
Finally, Google unveiled the future gadgets' colour schemes. As a result, while the Pixel 7 Pro will be offered in Obsidian, Hazel, and Snow, the Pixel 7 will only be available in Obsidian, Lemongrass, and Snow.
