Following the announcement that WhatsApp is working on controlling who can see when you're online on WhatsApp, we learned that the business is continuing to work on polls by adding sorting poll choices in a future release of WhatsApp Desktop beta!

We mentioned the entry point to enter the area that would allow us to build a poll for our groups in the article about the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.20.11 upgrade. This demonstrates that WhatsApp is still working on polls and that the feature's development has not been halted. We have noticed that WhatsApp maintains enhancing polls ahead of the release of a future WhatsApp Desktop beta version by supporting sorting poll options:
As shown in this picture, WhatsApp allows users to filter poll options before sharing them with the group. Here is new since we released a similar screenshot during the development of WhatsApp Desktop beta 2.2215.1 update, and the functionality that allows us to sort those options was not accessible at the time: this is proof that the firm continues to work on the feature even on the desktop version.
